CTN Navigators Take Over ASCO 2024

Earlier this year, I had the incredible opportunity to attend and present at one of the largest international cancer conferences in the world—ASCO 2024 in Chicago—alongside my fellow Clinical Trials Navigator (CTN) team members, Emmanuel and Rija and Dr. Hamm.

The conference brought together cancer researchers, clinicians, and advocates from across the country and the globe. I had the privilege of meeting professionals from Ireland, Paris, Australia, and beyond—many of whom expressed genuine interest in the work we’re doing at CTN. The positive feedback we received reinforced the importance of our mission: to make clinical trials more accessible and streamline the process for patients and providers alike.

One of the most exciting outcomes of our trip was connecting with a physician from New York, who was impressed by our research and eager to collaborate. Since ASCO, Emmanuel and I have continued working with this physician and Dr. Hamm, diving deeper into ways we can leverage technology and AI to optimize the workflow within our team. Our goal is to create a more efficient system for navigating clinical trials, using automation and data-driven insights to improve patient outcomes.

This experience at ASCO was more than just presenting a poster—it was a learning experience and taught me how important networking is. I’m excited to see where these new relationships and ideas will take us as we continue developing tools that simplify clinical trials and help patients access treatments faster.

Stay tuned for more updates as we make progress on these exciting new initiatives!
